Email Setup

Windows comes with Outlook Express. If you have windows and a web hosting account you have all the tools you need set up your email.

1.  Click Here to login to your account
2.  Enter your login.  
3.  Enter your domain (yourdomain.com without the www)
4.  Enter your password.  
5.  Click the "login" button

Once Logged In

6.  On the left side of the screen click "Mailboxes / User"
7.  Near the middle / top of the screen click on "add user"

Username:   Enter the name you'd like for your email address.  For example,  if you email address will be "tom@yourdomain.com" then just enter "tom"

Full Name:  Type your full name.

Password:  Enter a random password of your choosing. It is best to use a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers. Avoid common words and common spellings if you can.

Confirm Password: Type it in again.

RepeatDisk Quota:  Set your monthly quota for users. We recommend you leave this setting at the default of 20MB.

FTP:  Leave unchecked

CGI: Leave unchecked

Step #2: Set up your email account on your computer.

Note: Depending on the version of Outlook Express the interface will look slightly different, but the parameters remain the same. The instructions for Outlook Express 6 are as follows:

1.  From the mail toolbar in Outlook Express select "Tools".
2.  A drop-down menu appears. Near the bottom you will select "Accounts".
3.  A box pops up with a several tabs on the right side. If you click "add" .. Then "Mail." You will begin the setup process.

The following parameters will not change even though you may be using a different version of Outlook or a Macintosh.

1. Display Name: Just type your name. This is the name other people will see when you send them an email.
2. Email Address: Type the your new full email address. For example:  'tom@yourdomain'. Note:  It is important that you type in the full email address and not just 'tom'.
3. Incoming Mail (pop3, imap or http) server.  Type 69.94.67.102  
4. Outgoing Mail (smtp) server: Type 69.94.67.102  
5. Account Name: type in your full new email address (i.e. tom@yourdomain.com) 
6. Password: Type in your password.  Note, passwords are case sensitive.
7. Click "Finish".
8. Select "properties" while your new account is highlighted and find the checkbox that says exactly "My Server Requires Authentication". Make sure this box is checked.  

Note: Do not check the box that says "Log on using Secure Password Authentication.' Leave this box unchecked.
